PARTNERSHIP IN ACTION

Better Data Centres Sprint

The Better Data Centres Sprint is a live example of co-creation partnership. Greenhouse (Australia's climate innovation hub) partnered with econome to design and deliver a sprint building workforce capability for sustainable data infrastructure.

The sprint brings together 20 experts across five capability areas (circularity, planning, power, thermal/water, modular construction) to surface workforce gaps, define emerging roles, and build shared system literacy around next-generation data center precincts.

Insights are captured through our partnership with Climatalist and published as a public knowledge node, extending impact far beyond the 20-person cohort. The model demonstrates how partnership creates durable infrastructure, not just one-off training.

OUR PARTNERS

We work with organizations building climate capability at scale

Partnership is collaborative and open, but requires strategic alignment, ecosystem contribution, and commitment to knowledge-sharing.

🏒

Corporates

Organizations navigating climate transition and looking to build internal capability across sustainability, operations, finance, and strategy teams. Partnering to upskill at scale and contribute to sector-wide workforce readiness.

πŸ›οΈ

Industry Bodies & Government

Agencies and industry associations addressing workforce capability gaps strategically. Partnering to build sector-wide knowledge infrastructure and accelerate transition readiness.

🌐

Ecosystem Organizations

Climate innovation hubs, networks, and platforms (like Greenhouse) looking to deliver capability-building programs for their communities. Partnering to co-create and scale impact.

HOW WE PARTNER

What guides our partnerships

🎯

Strategic Alignment

We partner with organizations whose climate priorities align with our focus areas and whose commitment to workforce capability extends beyond individual training.

🀝

Ecosystem Contribution

Partners contribute to knowledge infrastructure that serves the broader climate economy, not just their internal teams. Insights are shared, not siloed.

πŸ“š

Knowledge Openness

Econome retains the ability to disseminate sprint insights through our networks. Partnership means co-creating public value, not proprietary content.

βš–οΈ

Mutual Commitment

Partnership requires investment from both sides: financial contribution, subject matter expertise, case study access, and active participation in sprint design and delivery.

TIMELINE

Two months from conversation to live sprint

We move fast. Once we align on scope, case study, and partnership model, we can design and deliver a sprint in 8 weeks.

1

Week 0-1

Initial conversation & scoping workshop

2

Week 2-3

Partner agreement & sprint design kickoff

3

Week 4-7

Sprint design, facilitator recruitment, participant selection

4

Week 8-10

Sprint delivery (5 sessions over 2-3 weeks)

5

Week 11-12

Knowledge synthesis & publication

Timeline may vary depending on sprint complexity, participant availability, and partner readiness. We work collaboratively to find the right pace.

Build climate capability with us
